Privacy policy

What we collect

This site does not require an account and does not collect names, emails, or payment information from browsing it. Standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) may be recorded temporarily for security and performance purposes, as with most websites.

Information you send us

If you email us, for a correction, a question, or anything else, we keep that correspondence to respond to you and to improve the accuracy of this site. We don't sell or share that information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Advertising and cookies

This site is not currently running any ads. When we do enable advertising, we intend to use Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on a visitor's prior visits to this and other websites, and to measure ad performance. Depending on a visitor's location and consent choices, ads may be personalized or non-personalized.

Visitors can review and adjust how Google personalizes ads at adssettings.google.com, and can read more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Third-party vendors, including Google, may also use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor's past visits to this site or other sites on the internet.

Beyond advertising cookies (once enabled), this site sets only cookies strictly needed for it to function, such as remembering a filter you selected. Those functional cookies don't identify you personally.

Your choices

Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. California residents have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under California privacy law; since this site doesn't sell personal information outside of the cookie-based ad measurement described above, there's nothing separate to opt out of beyond the Google ad settings linked above. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Third-party links

Menu pages link out to restaurants' official websites and ordering systems for source verification and ordering. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control.

Changes to this policy

If how we collect or use data changes meaningfully, most notably when advertising is actually enabled on this site, we'll update this page and the date above before that change takes effect.
