Cheddar's Menu With Prices, Lunch Specials & Family Bundles

The Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen menu covers shareable appetizers, salads and soup, a weekday lunch list, chicken, steaks and ribs, seafood, combination plates, burgers and sandwiches, Southern comfort food, scratch sides, kids meals, desserts and drinks, plus To Go family bundles. Every price below comes from Cheddar's own menu pages at cheddars.com with no restaurant selected, read October 2, 2026. Cheddar's sets prices per restaurant, so treat these as the chain's baseline rather than a guaranteed local price.

The items above are the dishes Cheddar's itself features, under “Try Our Favorites” and “Menu Highlights” on its home page, as the “#1 Dessert” on its specials page, and with a “Guest Favorite” label on its printed menu. Cheddar's publishes no sales data, so this is not a bestseller ranking.

About these prices

Cheddar's gates local pricing behind a JavaScript restaurant picker we couldn't drive, and cheddars.com blocks direct automated requests, so no single named restaurant could be selected in the ordering flow. Every price here is the figure Cheddar's own item page shows with no restaurant selected, which its own banner labels “Pricing And Availability May Vary.” Across two of Cheddar's own per-restaurant menu PDFs, the same dishes differed by up to roughly 17 percent. See our sources →

Are Cheddar's Honey Butter Croissants Free?

Cheddar's home page lists Honey Butter Croissants under Menu Highlights with the line “One for every guest.” That is the chain's own wording and the only official statement on the subject. Cheddar's does not use the words free or complimentary anywhere on its menu, nutrition or FAQ pages.

Extra croissants are a paid appetizer. The listing starts at $1.99, described as “enjoy more flaky golden croissants,” with a two-count at 440 calories and a six-count at 1,310. On Cheddar's per-restaurant printed menu the $1.99 line specifically covers two more. One per guest with your meal, then, and anything beyond that is charged like any other starter.

Cheddar's Weekday Lunch Menu

There is a real weekday lunch menu. Cheddar's home page states “Weekday Lunch Specials, Starting at $8.79, Monday-Friday, Until 3pm,” and each lunch item repeats the window on its own page as “Available Monday - Friday, Open - 3pm.” The portion is not reduced: Cheddar's wording on the lunch cheeseburger and pot pie is “Same great portion at a special lunchtime price.”

Prices land in three tiers at $8.79, $9.99 and $10.99, plus a $12.49 fish and shrimp platter. The window works in both directions: the full-price Homemade Chicken Pot Pie page tells you to use the lunch listing during those hours, where the same dish is $9.99 rather than $11.49. Cheddar's does not publish a list of participating restaurants, so check your own before you go.

Family Bundles and To Go Orders

Five bundles, each including six honey butter croissants and your choice of two family-size sides, from the $24.99 Chicken Tender Bundle to the $49.99 House-Smoked Baby Back Ribs Bundle. No official Cheddar's source states how many people a bundle feeds, so count the components instead.

The $24.99 Chicken Tender Bundle needs care. Cheddar's specials page markets it as a “$24.99 Tender Bundle for a Limited Time” valid for To Go or delivery orders only, and the standing product page shows the same $24.99 with those limited-time terms in full: participating locations only, not valid in Colorado or at franchise locations, taxes and fees additional, and the offer subject to change at any time. The price on the menu right now is the promotional price, so do not assume it is the standing dine-in price for 16 tenders at your restaurant.

Delivery runs through Cheddar's own site, which prices it “for the same great prices you get at the restaurant” while noting that availability varies and delivery and service fees apply. Third-party delivery marketplaces set their own prices, commonly higher.

Cheddar's Sides and Upgrades

Plated entrees labeled “with two sides” include two scratch sides at no extra charge. Burgers and sandwiches come with fries, and pasta dishes come with garlic bread and no sides. Three premium sides carry a documented upcharge: $0.99 for the Loaded Baked Potato with Bacon, and $1.49 each for the Cheese & Bacon Mashed Potatoes and the Homemade Queso & Bacon French Fries.

Cheddar's per-restaurant printed menu prices the other common changes too: substitute any side for a house or Caesar salad for $0.99, add a side for $2.99, add a house or Caesar salad for $3.99, add chicken tenders or grilled chicken to a pasta for $3.99, add sauteed mushrooms or onions for $1.29, and upgrade a 6 oz. sirloin to 8 oz. for $2.00.

Cheddar's Calories & Allergen Information

What those figures cover matters as much as the numbers. Entrees labeled “with two sides” do not include those sides: a 6 oz. Top Sirloin Steak is 250 calories for the steak alone, while the sides sit on their own rows, from 35 for sweet baby carrots to 650 for queso and bacon fries. Items served over rice do include the bed of seasoned rice.

Salad dressing is usually counted separately. Cheddar's marks the honey mustard salads “dressing not included” and lists a 3 fl. oz. serving at 370 calories, so a 640-calorie Grilled Chicken Pecan Salad is a roughly 1,010-calorie plate as served. The Caesar salads print a figure that already includes the dressing, so read each item rather than assuming. Bundle figures cover the main item: the six croissants (1,310 calories) and the family-size sides are listed on separate rows, and we do not divide bundle calories per person because no official source gives a serving count.

On dietary needs the wording matters. Cheddar's online menu calls its modified list gluten sensitive while the nutrition guide heads the same section gluten-friendly. Neither is a gluten-free claim: Cheddar's states that its kitchens are “not free of gluten,” that cross-contact is possible, and that it “cannot ensure that these items meet the definition of ‘gluten-free.’” Its allergen position is equally explicit, warning that kitchen operations may involve shared cooking and preparation areas, that it cannot guarantee any item is completely free of allergens, and that grill and fryer items present a special risk for cross-contamination. For a severe allergy, talk to the restaurant or call Cheddar's guest relations line at 888-642-7336, Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm ET.

Two printed-menu labels are worth decoding: a double asterisk marks items containing pork, which covers the country gravy, the red beans and rice and the Baked Potato Soup, and a leaf symbol marks dishes that are “650 calories or less when paired with Southern green beans & sweet baby carrots.” A lower calorie figure is not the same thing as a healthier meal, and Cheddar's does not frame it that way either.

How Much Does Cheddar's Cost?

At the baseline prices cheddars.com shows with no restaurant selected, full plates with two sides run from about $10.99 for Spasagna to $25.49 for the 16 oz. Bone-In Ribeye, with most chicken and comfort-food entrees between $12 and $16. Appetizers run $1.99 to $12.49, kids meals $5.49 to $6.49, desserts $6.49 to $8.29, and family bundles $24.99 to $49.99. Weekday lunch starts at $8.79. Those figures exclude tax, drinks, side upgrades, delivery or service fees and gratuity, and Cheddar's prices per restaurant, so your own may differ.

How to Check Your Local Cheddar's Menu

  • Open the menu at cheddars.com. With no restaurant chosen, the site shows the banner “Pricing And Availability May Vary. Search For Local Menu.”
  • Use find restaurant or change location and search your city, then let the menu reload with that restaurant's prices.
  • Expect some items to disappear. Dishes the nutrition guide marks “where available,” such as Coconut Shrimp, Baja Chicken, Blackened Mahi Mahi, Skirt Steak Churrasco and the Salmon Strawberry Salad, are only at some restaurants.
  • Before 3pm on a weekday, open Weekday Lunch rather than the dinner listing, since several dishes have a cheaper lunch entry there.
  • Pick To Go or delivery at checkout, remembering that bundles, the Family House Salad and the gallon drinks are To Go only and the online menu carries no alcohol. Check the specials page last, since limited-time offers carry their own restrictions.

Cheddar's FAQ says it is open every day of the year except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, with special hours on Christmas Eve, and its waitlist takes parties of up to six. Hours otherwise vary by restaurant.

Cheddar's Menu FAQs

What is on Cheddar's menu?

Appetizers, salads and soup, a weekday lunch list, chicken, steaks and ribs, seafood, combination plates, half-pound burgers and sandwiches, Southern comfort food, made-from-scratch sides, a gluten-sensitive list, kids meals, desserts, teas, lemonades and soft drinks, and To Go family bundles. Alcohol appears on the in-restaurant printed menu only, not as a category in Cheddar's online ordering menu.

How much does a meal cost at Cheddar's?

At the baseline prices cheddars.com shows with no restaurant selected, full plates with two sides run from about $10.99 for Spasagna to $25.49 for the 16 oz. Bone-In Ribeye, with most chicken and comfort-food entrees between $12 and $16, and weekday lunch from $8.79. Those figures exclude tax, drinks, side upgrades and gratuity. Cheddar's sets prices per restaurant, so your own restaurant may price differently.

Are Cheddar's Honey Butter Croissants complimentary?

Cheddar's home page lists Honey Butter Croissants under Menu Highlights as "One for every guest." That is the only official statement on the subject, and the chain does not use the words free or complimentary anywhere on its menu, nutrition or FAQ pages. Extra croissants are a paid appetizer starting at $1.99, which covers two more on the per-restaurant printed menu. Two croissants are 440 calories and six are 1,310.

Does Cheddar's have lunch specials?

Yes. Cheddar's home page states "Weekday Lunch Specials, Starting at $8.79, Monday-Friday, Until 3pm," and each lunch item repeats the window on its own page as "Available Monday - Friday, Open - 3pm." The portion is not reduced: Cheddar's wording is "Same great portion at a special lunchtime price." Prices land in three tiers at $8.79, $9.99 and $10.99, plus a $12.49 fish and shrimp platter. Cheddar's does not publish a list of participating restaurants, so confirm on your local menu.

Which Cheddar's meals include sides?

Plated entrees whose description says "with two sides" include two made-from-scratch sides at no extra charge, and kids entrees include one. Burgers and sandwiches come with fries instead. Pasta dishes, including Spasagna, New Orleans Pasta and both alfredos, come with garlic bread and no sides. The Homemade Chicken Pot Pie comes with a house salad. Three premium sides carry an upcharge: $0.99 for the Loaded Baked Potato with Bacon and $1.49 each for the Cheese & Bacon Mashed Potatoes and the Homemade Queso & Bacon French Fries.

What comes in a Cheddar's family bundle?

All five bundles include six honey butter croissants and two family-size sides of your choice, plus the main item: 16 chicken tenders, four half racks of ribs, two half racks plus eight tenders, four five-ounce salmon fillets, or two salmon fillets plus eight tenders. No official Cheddar's source states how many people a bundle serves, so count the components instead. Bundles are To Go, and the $24.99 Chicken Tender Bundle carries limited-time promotional terms.

Can you order Cheddar's menu To Go?

Most of it. Cheddar's takes pickup and delivery orders through its own site and says delivered food is priced "for the same great prices you get at the restaurant," with delivery and service fees added and availability varying by location. Family bundles, the Family House Salad and the gallon teas and lemonades are To Go only. The online ordering menu lists no alcohol, so a drink means dining in. Third-party delivery marketplaces set their own prices, commonly higher.

Where can you find Cheddar's official nutrition and allergen information?

On Cheddar's nutrition and allergen page, which links its current Food & Beverage Nutrition Guide and Allergen Guide. The nutrition guide carries its own printed effective date, August 31, 2026 on the copy we checked. Read the calorie labels carefully: entrees marked "with two sides" exclude those sides, the honey mustard salads are marked "dressing not included" with the dressing listed separately at 370 calories, and bundle figures cover the main item rather than the croissants and family-size sides.

Does Cheddar's have gluten-free options?

No. Cheddar's online menu calls its modified list "gluten sensitive" and its nutrition guide heads the same section "gluten-friendly," and neither is a gluten-free claim. Cheddar's states that these items are modified to be made without gluten-containing ingredients, that its kitchens are "not free of gluten," that cross-contact is possible, and that it "cannot ensure that these items meet the definition of 'gluten-free.'" It also warns that kitchen operations may involve shared cooking and preparation areas and that grill and fryer items present a special risk for cross-contamination.

Menu prices

Prices shown from: Cheddar's own menu and online-ordering item pages at cheddars.com, with no restaurant selected. Checked: October 2, 2026. Cheddar's gates local pricing behind a JavaScript restaurant picker that could not be driven, and cheddars.com returns HTTP 403 to direct automated requests, so no single named restaurant could be selected in the ordering flow. Cheddar's own banner on this view reads "Pricing And Availability May Vary. Search For Local Menu," and items with several size or option tiers display "Starting at." Treat every price here as the chain's baseline, not your local price: across two of Cheddar's own per-restaurant menu PDFs the same dishes differed by up to roughly 17 percent.

  • • Prices differ by state, by individual restaurant, and often between dine-in, drive-thru, delivery, and app orders, so the numbers on this page are a reference, not a national average.
  • • Every priced item on this page is marked either the exact date it was priced, or “unavailable” if we couldn't find a real number anywhere.
  • • The fastest way to see today's accurate price near you: open the Cheddar's app or order site, choose your restaurant, and the menu will price itself for that location.
  • • We'd rather show a dated price with a clear caveat, or mark it unavailable, than publish a number we can't stand behind. See our data methodology for how we handle this across every restaurant on this site.

How we verify our menu data

We start with Cheddar's own website, ordering system, and published nutrition documents. When those don't show prices, we use one named restaurant location's own listing on a delivery platform or its in-store menu board, and say so. Nothing is copied from other menu-listing sites. Every figure on this page is dated, and every source we checked is listed below, including the ones that didn't give us usable data.

The file prints no street address, so it is treated as prices from that specific official PDF and no city is asserted. Used only for details the live item pages do not state: the side substitution and add-on charges ($0.99 to swap a side for a house or Caesar salad, $2.99 to add a side, $3.99 to add a house or Caesar salad or chicken to a pasta, $1.29 for sauteed mushrooms or onions, $2.00 to upgrade a 6 oz. sirloin to 8 oz.), the kids menu rules ("For kids 12 and under", served with milk, apple juice and soft drinks on request), unlimited free drink refills, the pork and 650-calorie menu symbols, the swai sourcing note, and in-restaurant alcohol pricing. Its text layer uses a non-standard font encoding in which all digits collapse to one unmappable glyph under ordinary extraction; after decoding the offset, every figure used was accepted only where the calorie value in the same text block matched the nutrition guide for that item, and the decode was corroborated against the live site on the $1.99 croissant price, the $2.00 sirloin upgrade, and the $1.49 and $0.99 premium-side upcharges.

To compare, our TGI Fridays menu page covers a casual-dining chain with a wider appetizer and bar-food range but fewer plated meat-and-two-sides entrees. Its prices come from one restaurant's delivery-platform storefront, which usually runs above in-restaurant pricing, so compare the menus rather than the numbers. If you came mainly for the tenders, the Slim Chickens menu is the fast-casual alternative.
